Mr. Gali ISKALIYEV is currently holding the position as Vice President of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan (DBK). He has been the Managing Director of the Bank from June 23, 2006 until he was designated Vice President in January 21, 2008. Prior to his appointments with DBK, Mr. Iskaliyev had already served several financial institutions like the BankTuranAlem in Uralsk City as Head of its Credit Department; Termibank also in Uralsk City as Branch Director; and as President of the Regional Investment Center “Gradient” in Uralsk City. He has also had stint with the City Hall of West Kazakhstan in Uralsk City as Director of Enterprise Support Department.
Mr. Rakesh REWARI, Deputy Managing Director, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), is a well experienced banker who started his career in 1975 as a Probationary Officer in State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, a subsidiary of the State of Bank of India, handling General Banking and Advances. He stayed with the Bank until 1977.
Mr. Rewari joined IFCI Ltd. as a Management Trainee and from there, he gained experiences in SME lending, corporate finance, and follow-up and monitoring. He stayed with IFCI until 1982. He moved to IDBI Bank in 1982 and served as its Industrial Finance Officer. He worked in various regional and branch offices in the areas of project appraisal, follow-up for SME, refinance, corporate finance, promotional & development services and industry-specific studies.
From IFCI, Mr. Rewari moved to SIDBI in 1990 where he held various high level positions. Before he was appointed the Deputy Managing Director of SIDBI, he worked in the areas such as overseeing the overall business operations of the Bank, focusing on credit delivery, branch expansion, reduction in non-performing assets and development of innovative products. Mr. Rewari also heads the SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd.
Mr. Rewari also chairs the following companies: SIDBI Trustee Co. Ltd., Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Small Industries (CGTS); and India SME Technology Services Ltd. Mr. Rewari obtained his MBA from the University of Delhi and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
Mr. Fuimaono Falefa LIMA, General Manager of the Development Bank of Samoa (DBS), has been working for DBS for twenty nine (29) years, starting as a Loans Officer, and became General Manager in the last fourteen years.
He is a member of the Development Bank Board, the Samoa Business Enterprises Centre Trust Board, and the Government Export Guarantee Scheme Committee. As General Manager, he represents DBS in the Samoa Association of Manufacturers and Exporters, and Samoa Chamber of Commerce.
Fuimaono Falefa Lima is a member of ADFIAP Board, and one of ADFIAP’s Vice Chairman. He is presently Chairman of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in the Pacific (ADFIP).
Fuimaono Falefa Lima graduated with a BA Degree in Economics from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji in 1975, and a Master of Arts Degree in Development Banking from the American University, Washington D.C. in 1992.
