Datuk Wan Azhar bin Wan AHMAD is presently Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad.  He received his Masters in International Business from National University of San Diego in 1985 and has been working in the banking line since his graduation.  Prior to joining Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC), he served in a few banks both local and foreign banks.

In 1993, he was recruited by Central Bank of Malaysia to join CGC as Manager and was subsequently promoted to Assistant General Manager in 1995.  In 1997, he was further promoted as General Manager/Chief Executive Officer and later was appointed to the Board of Directors as Managing Director in 2000.

Datuk Wan Azhar was conferred the title “Datuk” in 2002 by the Head of State, in recognition of his career and social service to the country.

Mr. Zaigham Mahmood Rizvi is presently Chairman and Managing Director of House Building Finance Corporation. Prior to this, he was Chairman and Managing Director of Pakistan Kuwait Investment Co. (Pvt.) Ltd.  He has 28 years of experience in manufacturing, academics, and development and investment banking. His business links with Arab financial circles spread over 22 years. He served with the Oman Development Bank for almost eight years and has also held senior positions at the Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan, Saudi-Pak Industrial & Agricultural Investment Company, and Pak-Libya Holding Company and Pakistan Kuwait Investment Company (Private) Ltd. He has served on the boards of many corporate entities, and the Islamabad and Karachi stock exchanges. He is chairman and founder of the Mutual Fund Association of Pakistan (MUFAP), and chairman of the Pakistan Banks Association’s subcommittee on information technology. He has an MBA, a master’s degree in economics and chemical engineering, and a diploma from Pakistan’s Institute of Bankers. He was a Fulbright Scholar in the U.S. from 1975-77.

Mr. Takejiro SUEYOSHI is the presently UNEP’s Special Advisor in the Asia-Pacific region since 2003 and was formerly a Steering Committee Member of the same organization from the year 2000 to 2003.  He also concurrently holds an advisory position as Special Advisor to the Mayor of Kawasaki in Japan.

He started his banking career with the Mitsubishi Bank, Limited, from 1967 to 1996 covering areas of Tokyo, New York and Bangkok.  From 1996 to 1998, he held the position as President of The Bank of Tokyo–Mitsubishi Trust Company, Ltd., New York. From 1998 to 2002, he was Deputy President/Executive Committee Member of the Nikko Asset Management Co. Ltd. Tokyo.

Mr. Sueyoshi obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the Tokyo University in 1967.

Ms. Martini OSMAN, the newly appointed Acting General Manager of the Bank Pertanian Malaysia (BPM). Ms. Osman has a vast experience in the fields of credit delivery, human resource and had served as Senior Manager at the regional and branch offices of the Bank. She has a Masters Degree in Public Administration (Human Resource) from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and a Bachelor of Social Science (Urban Studies) from the University of Malaya.
