Brief Profile of the Bank

The Bhutan Development Finance Corporation (BDFCL) was established by the Royal Government of Bhutan as the only Development Finance Institution for providing financial services to develop agricultural and industrial enterprises in Bhutan. BDFCL was created by Royal Charter which was later on replaced by articles of incorporation under the companies act. The Royal Government of Bhutan through Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan, Bhutan's Central Bank,regulates the operations of BDFCL. BDFCL is registered under the companies act of the kingdom of Bhutan, 2000.
