Brief Profile of the Bank

Bank Pembangunan is wholly owned by the Malaysian Government through the Ministry of Finance. Bank Pembangunan was incorporated under the Companies Act 1965 on 28 Nov 1973 with the original objective to assist entrepreneurs involved in small and medium industries through the provision of various financing facilities, entrepreneurs training and advisory services. Beside providing direct financing, Bank Pembangunan through its subsidiaries and affiliate companies facilitates spearheading the growth of Malaysia's strategic economic sectors.
