Brief Profile of the Bank

The Federated States of Micronesia Development Bank was created by a Public Law No. 8-47 reorganized as a corporate body on January 3, 1994 in Kolonia, Pohnpei, FSM. The bank is the sole provider of fund to finance private sector business development, particularly the small and medium enterprises that cannot access funding (loans) from the commercial banks.
