Brief Profile of the Bank

Thai Military Bank Company Limited was founded on November 8, 1957 in Bangkok, Thailand. Its mission was to provide financial services exclusively to military personnel and their families. In 1973, the Bank adjusted its business policy by becoming a full commercial bank and enlarging its customer base to include the general public. In 2004, the Bank merged its operation with the DBS Thai Danu Bank and The Industrial Finance Corporation of Thailand ("IFCT"). In 2005, the Bank has carried out rebranding program and changed its name to TMB Bank Public Company Limited ("TMB"). In 2007, the Bank has completed its recapitalization with ING Group as the new strategic partner of the Bank.
