AC visits Australian APEC Study Center, explores more joint projects

Continuing ADFIAP’s initiative of strengthening ties with its development partners, ADFIAP Consulting’s (AC) Melbourne-based, Head of Business Development, Mr. Joaquin Gelvezon, visited the Australian APEC Study Center at RMIT in Melbourne to meet with its Executive Director, Mr. Kenneth Waller as well as Ms. Margot Kilgour and Ms. Briony Ingram, Manager and Projects and Programs Head of the Center, respectively. Among the topics discussed during the meeting were the recently successfully-concluded “Regional Symposium on Best Practice Regulatory Principles Supporting MSME Access to Finance” held in Manila on June 27 and 28, 2011 (please see this link for reference http://www.adfiap.org/news/adfiap-australian-apec-centre-hold-forum-on-msme-access-to-finance/); the subsequent 5-day capacity-building program for regional policy makers and regulators to be held in Melbourne, Australia in early 2012; issues on access to finance; and other future joint projects between ADFIAP and the Study Center, both of which are contributors to the work and advocacies of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) https://www.abaconline.org/v4/index.php
