The ADFIAP Board of Directors, in its 73rd meeting held in conjunction with the 35th ADFIAP Meetings held on in Kyrenia, North Cyprus on April 20-23, 2011, instructed the Secretariat to study further the setting up of member working committees to improve membership engagement and participation to make it a more dynamic and inclusive association. The move calls for the restructuring the present Board committees’ terms of reference to allow non-Board members to be part of the envisioned permanent working committees. The Secretariat is now drafting the terms of reference.
The Board also mandated the Secretariat to study further the creation of a green finance advisory committee to be composed of high-profile international personalities who would be willing to provide advice and inputs to the ADFIAP Board on the development of financing mechanisms that can be relevant and useful to the Association membership as well as push the proposed global green finance alliance (please see diagrams below).
