At its 85th meeting held in Macao SAR, China, the ADFIAP Board approved the recommendation of the Secretariat to fill the post of Deputy Secretary General. Norman A. Tilos assumes the position on June 1, 2017.

Norman has more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, financial management, joint-ventures, and partnerships and networks across different sectors, industries, and countries. From 2009, he was a freelance management consultant, working for the Asian Development Bank, among others. He worked mostly in the private sector, including in an industry association, after earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of the Philippines and a master’s degree in business management at the Asian Institute of Management. He has completed the coursework of the Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) Program at the De la Salle University. Norman speaks English, Spanish, and Japanese and enjoys interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds.
