On invitation by the Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia, ADFIAP participated as a fully-hosted organization of the IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific 2016 held on September 27-29, 2016 at the Bangkok Convention Centre in the Thai capital city. The trade show for the meetings, incentives, conventions and events (MICE) and corporate travel industries was attended by about 2,000 professional MICE, tourism and association delegates from the Asia-Pacific region and elsewhere.

ADFIAP’s Knowledge and Resources Executive & Sustainability Officer, Mr. Enrique Florencio, represented ADFIAP to this event where he met and had exploratory talks with representatives of travel associations and the national tourism boards of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries on possible incentives and tailor-fitted programs for ADFIAP’s international conferences and events. He also attended the IT&CM’s inaugural “Association Day Forum” for association executives which featured inspiring educational insights as well as networking events that afforded him to gain knowledge and measures on association management, best practice case studies, industry trends, updates, outlooks and technology solutions for not-for-profit associations to stay relevant.
