As part of its outreach to same-purposed development institutions and its advocacy on entrepreneurship, ADFIAP was invited recently by the Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc. (JAPI) to give an award to outstanding young student achievers in JAPI’s Entrepreneurial and Business Leadership Training Course. The eight-month course was participated by university students who wish to consider entrepreneurship as a post-graduate vocation. During the program, students were grouped and tasked with creating mini-companies (from start-up to implementation), with the guidance of volunteer corporate professionals who acted as their business mentors. Shown giving the award to one of the winners is Ms. Sandra C. Honrado, ADFIAP Sr. Executive Officer for Programs, with ADFIAP Secretary General, Octavio B. Peralta and JAPI President, Mr. Ernesto R. Alberto looking on. For more details on JAPI’s work and activities, please visit http://www.japionline.com
