ADFIAP organizes briefing on renewable energy training

IMG_2017ADFIAP held a 2-hour briefing for members on renewable energy training on March 26, 2014 at its International Headquarters in Manila. The briefing was on “Capacity Development on Renewable Energy and Grid Integration” (CapREG) project conducted by the Berlin-based Renewables Academy AG (RENAC) represented by its CEO, Dr. Berthold Breid, and CAPReg Project Director, Engr. Albrecht Tiedemann. Nine (9) participants from members, Land Bank of the Philippines, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Alalay sa Kaunlaran, Inc (ASKI) as well as from the ADFIAP Secretariat attended the briefing.

CapREG is a three-year scholarship programme within the German International Climate Initiative (IKI). RENAC has been commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) to implement this programme in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, Ecuador and Peru. The programme offers different kinds of trainings, networking and exchange of experiences for professionals from the public and the private sectors.
