ADFIAP, represented by its Operations Group Head and Sustainability Officer, Mr. Enrique Florencio, attended the United Nations Global Compact Network Philippines’ (GCNP) 3rd General Assembly meeting on March 3, 2020 at the South Room, Ayala Tower One in Makati, City.

The event gathered more than 40 member-participants from the private sector, government, and other sustainability stakeholders in the Philippines with the aim of strengthening the role of UNGC as a platform that links together companies and sustainable development stakeholders in building a business agenda for sustainable development.

The GCNP is a non-stock, not-for-profit organization that serves as the UN’s Global Compact local entity in the Philippines. It is the country’s thought leader in pursuing sustainable business, helping companies shape their corporate sustainability work to adhere to its ten principles and contribute to the sustainable development goals (SDGs). GCNP provides a principle-based framework, best practices, resources and networking events that have revolutionized how companies do business responsibly and keep commitments to society.
