On the invitation of Writers Edge, an editorial company in the Philippines, ADFIAP, represented by its Operations Group Head and Sustainability Officer, Mr. Enrique Florencio, spoke on ADFIAP’s journey as one of the GRI pioneers that adopted the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines for a decade now to more than 50 participants at the Insular Life Makati Ballroom, Makati City, Metro Manila on September 10-11, 2019.

It was in 2009, when ADFIAP became a GRI pioneer and eventually a GRI Gold Community member by annually registering its annual sustainability report with the GRI, the de facto world standard for sustainability reporting.

Sustainability reporting is an organization’s practice of reporting publicly its economic, environmental, and social impacts. Registering sustainability reports brings benefits to an organization which include international organizational profiling, direct report access for stakeholders, a user-friendly archive of all organization’s reports, benchmarking against peers, and contributing to sustainability research, as well as trend analysis that drive the sustainability agenda.
