The ADFIAP Board of Directors elected Mr. Nihal Fonseka, Chief Executive Officer of DFCC Bank of Sri Lanka, to fill the third seat for Vice Chairman during their 63rd Board Meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka on May 10, 2006. Mr. Fonseka joined the ADFIAP Board in January 2000 and has been actively involved in the affairs of the Association since then. The ADFIAP charter allows the election of three Vice Chairmen to enhance the governance process of the Association (for more information on Mr. Fonseka, please see article on his recognition as CEO of the Year).
