IDF, AC team up on bank operations training for BNBL

ADFIAP’s Institute of Development Finance (IDF) and ADFIAP Consulting (AC) conducted a two-week training program on Bank Operations Management (BOM) from June 25 to July 6, 2012 for 12 account officers of Bhutan National Bank Ltd. (BNBL) in Makati City, Philippines. The program was aimed at levelling up the bank’s operational efficiency in various aspects of banking.

The BOM program was designed and developed by AC and IDF to fit the requirements of BNBL and covered the areas of project management, financial and risk management, customer relations and sustainability reporting. The program also afforded the participants to familiarize and orient themselves on the topics through institutional visits and interaction with Philippine banks, namely, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Planters Development Bank (Plantersbank), RCBC Savings Bank, Small Business Corporation (SB Corp.), Esquire Financing Inc., and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines).

The AC core team, namely, Ms. Corazon D. Conde, Atty. Alberto B. Reyno, Ms. Arlene S Orencia, Ms. Cecilia M. Ibarra together with Ms. Ma. Cristy T. Aquino and Mr. Enrique Florencio, ADFIAP Head of Knowledge and Management and Sustainability Officer were the resource persons of the program.
