Landbank champions human capital development

Human capital is considered to be one of the most important elements of success in business today, so the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) is giving its full support to the development of its human capital through various leadership and management programs.

One such program is the “Management and Leadership Framework” (MLF) which runs distinct major programs to equip and prepare talents for future and higher responsibilities and enhance their current responsibilities. Under the MLF are the Management Training Program (MTP), Management Development Program (MDP), Officers Development Program (ODP), Branch Officers Development Program (BODP) and Leadership Development Program.

In addition to these programs, the Bank also runs the Graduate Education Program (GEP), a scholarship program for qualified employees who seek higher education. The GEP was enhanced through the provision of tuition and other school fees that will be shouldered by the Bank and an allowance for textbooks and reading materials. In addition, the program also institutionalized an in-house MBA program in partnership with the Concordia International College and the College of Holy Spirit.

The Bank has been continuously preparing and equipping its human capital with knowledge that would help them become responsible managers and leaders today and in the future.
LBP’s “Management and Leadership Framework” won the 2017 ADFIAP Outstanding Development Project Awards under the Human Capital Development Category.
