250 delegates from 23 countries attended the successful International CEO Forum 2017 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 24-26, 2017 at the Intercontinental KL Hotel. The event was organized and hosted by Association of Development Finance Institutions of Malaysia (ADFIM) in collaboration with
the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) and the Association of National Development Finance Institutions in Member Countries of the Islamic Development Bank (ADFIMI).
The Forum’s theme was “Sustaining Economic Growth with Social Consciences – Modalities of the New Era” which featured plenary presentations and discussions on the role of national DFIs in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), business continuity innovation, DFI governance models and best practices, the role of SMEs in national economic growth, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) best practices.
The Forum was preceded by separate events – the 86th ADFIAP’s Board of Directors Meeting, the ADFIMI Executive Committee Meeting, and the World Bank’s presentation of the results of the global survey on development banks.
