Preparations are underway for the International CEO Forum 2018 to be held on October 23-25, 2018 in Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus under the auspices of the World Federation of DFIs (WFDFI). ADFIAP, currently the WFDFI secretariat, is coordinating the organization of the event with the host and members of the WFDFI which also includes the African Association of DFIs (AADFI), the Association of National DFIs in Member Countries of the Islamic Development Bank (ADFIMI), and the Association of DFIs in Latin America and the Caribbean (ALIDE). The event will be hosted by the TRNC Development Bank. Over 100 CEOs and senior officers from the WFDFI members and invited organizations are expected to attend the event. This will also be an occasion for ADFIAP to hold its 88th Board of Directors Meeting. The theme for this year’s Forum, “DFIs and the Green Economy”, will cover diverse topics such as green manufacturing (small and medium enterprises), renewable energy, water and waste management systems, green buildings and affordable housing, sustainable agriculture, among other related areas.
