ADFIAP AWARDS 2022

The ADFIAP Awards honor member institutions that have undertaken or supported projects that have positively impacted development in areas such as the environment, small and medium-sized enterprises, infrastructure, technology, trade, local economy, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility.

On October 26, 2022, ADFIAP awarded 12 DFIs in the following Categories:

The winners for this year’s “Outstanding Development Project Awards” were: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development for their NABScholar (e-LMS platform) project; Industrial & Infrastructure Dev. Finance Co. Ltd. (IIDFC), for their Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project named “Improving Kiln Efficiency in the Brick Making Industry in Bangladesh; SME Bank Malaysia, for their SME Bank XCESS 2021 project; PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero), for their DBuN III Clean Water Facility in Desa Bajo Indah project; State Development Corporation (VEB.RF) for their Creation of a special PPP mechanism to finance 439 projects for school construction project; Eurasian Development Bank, for their «COVID-19 Free Travel» mobile app project; SME Bank Malaysia, for their eCOACH DUBAI project; New Rural Bank of San Leonardo, for their Collaboration Work in Agriculture Supply Chain Ecosystem project; China Development Bank, for their Consolidating and Expanding the Achievements of Poverty Relief, Promoting Rural Revitalization project; the Pag-IBIG Fund, for their The Lingkod Pag-IBIG Campaign: The Heart and Soul of Pag-IBIG Fund Service project; and the Alliance Finance Company PLC, for their AFC Branch Sustainability Projects.

Merit Awards were also given to: DFCC Bank for their DFCC OMMM Project; Development Bank of Japan for their Establishment of “Shikokuchuo City Carbon Neutrality Council project; Land Bank of the Philippines, for their LANDBANK Renewable and Efficient ALternative (REAL) Energy Financing Program; Development Bank of the Philippines, for their Energy Efficiency Savings Financing Program (e2save); IPDC Finance Ltd., for their IPDC DANA project; China Development Bank, for their Cambodia ACLEDA Bank International Syndicated Loan Project in 2021; Landbank of the Philippines, for their Right-of-Way Appraisal of DPWH and DOTr Infrastructure Projects under the National Government’s “Build, Build, Build” Program; Employees Provident Fund, for their Online Service Delivery project; CARD MRI, for their konek2CARD project; Fiji Development Bank, for their COVID-19 Recovery Credit Guarantee Scheme; the Development Bank of Japan, for their Establishment of “Shikokuchuo City Carbon Neutrality Council project; Agricultural and Rural Development Bank, for their Government Special Fund Financing for Rice Sector Improvement Program; State Development Corporation (VEB.RF), for their Creating conditions for low-income families with children to overcome a difficult life situation project; New Rural Bank of San Leonardo, for their Credit Facilities for the Acquisition of Residential and Commercial Properties in favor of Asset-less Rural Households and Small Enterprises through Land Partitioning/Individual Titling and Usufruct Rights project; State Development Corporation (VEB.RF), for their Creating conditions for low-income families with children to overcome a difficult life situation project; National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, for their NABARD Corporate Governance; IPDC Finance Ltd., for their Child Marriage Prevention Loan (CMPL) project; PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero), for their Solar Panels to increase health and energy accessibility in Tayando Ohoiel Health Center project; and the ASKI Group of Companies, Inc., for their Promoting Disaster Resilient Housing in the Countryside project.

The ADFIAP Awards Program was launched in 1997 when ADFIAP hosted the “Summit on Development Finance” in Manila. The Summit was an excellent opportunity to honor Association members and their significant contributions to their country’s growth. The Association’s Awards Program has been a permanent “fixture” ever since.
