ADFIAP joins the first private sector consultation hosted by the Climate Change Commission

Upon the invitation of the Climate Change Commission, ADFIAP (www.adfiap.org), represented by its Secretary General, Enrique Florencio, John Alianza, Group Head, Business Development and Marketing, and Vic Abainza, ADFIAP’s Senior Consultant attended the first private sector engagement on 16th September 2022 (Friday) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the JV Del Rosario Function Room, 4th Floor of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center which was attended by more than 80 representatives from the private sector.

ADFIAP represented the development financing sector in a consultation meeting with the private sector organized by The Climate Change Commission (CCC). The meeting’s goal was to strengthen ties among the private sector and foster an environment conducive to climate change initiatives.

This event is being held ahead of the Climate Investment Forum in November, which will facilitate discussions on areas of collaboration between the Philippine government and the private sector on translating climate commitments into actions with results.

The Climate Change Commission (https://www.climate.gov.ph/), is the lead policy-making body of the government tasked to coordinate, monitor, and evaluate government programs and ensure mainstreaming of climate change in national, local, and sectoral development plans toward a climate-resilient and the climate-smart Philippines.
