ADFIAP Secretary General Octavio B. Peralta visited the Atlas Economic Research Foundation during his time in Washington, D.C. for the World Federation of DFIs (WFDFI) seminar and Board of Governors meeting. At Atlas, he met with Messrs. Fernando Menendez and Gonzalo Schwarz, Vice President of Institute Relations and Program Associate, respectively, to exchange organizational information as well as to explore possible collaboration through synergies in institutional capacity building, training, development advocacy and other activities.
The mission of Atlas is to discover, develop and support intellectual entrepreneurs worldwide who advance the Atlas vision of a society of free and responsible individuals. Its programs and services connect these intellectual entrepreneurs to the tools, training, resources, and allies they need to succeed. Atlas defines intellectual entrepreneurs as an individual who discovers a need for a new idea or policy solution and has the talent and willingness to attract resources and allocate them to satisfy that need.
