PUNB provides RM51 million to support Sabah SMEs

Since its founding till July 2022, Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB) has approved RM51 million in finance for 257 Sabah Bumiputera entrepreneur enterprises. For the state of Sabah this year, up until July, a total of RM4.4 million in funding had been authorized for 18 enterprises, according to PUNB Chairman Datuk Ahmad Nazlan Idris.
Additionally present were Sabah Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Andi Muhammad Suryady Bandy, and Kalabakan Member of Parliament, Ma’mun Sulaiman. He said the government had given PUNB an RM200 million grant to support Bumiputera business owners in the country.
