RATIONALE & OBJECTIVES
The Fellow in Development Finance (FDF) is Level 3 of the ADFIAP Career Credentialing Program
(ACCP). It aims to enhance the managerial capabilities of CEOs and senior officials belonging to the upper management level of development banks and other development financing institutions.
The Seminar-Workshop is devoted to the nature of development financing and its role in economic development. It includes discussion on the vital role of development financing institutions, including development banks and non-bank financing institutions, in the economic and social progress of a developing country as well as its responsibilities as a financial institution. The module is also envisioned to provide a deeper insight on the needs for development financing that could serve as guidelines for the operation of development banks. Important guidelines on long-term project finance, an important area of development banking, will also be discussed. The learning gains from this program will help the senior officials of development banks in providing leadership role in managing development finance.
PRE-REQUISITE
As a pre-requisite, the participants must have attended at least one ADFIAP Annual Meetings or the ADFIAP International CEO Forum
CREDENTIAL
Successful participants will be certified as “Fellow in Development Finance” (FDF) by the ADFIAP Institute.
