AC invited to Energy Efficiency Forum

ADFIAP Consulting (AC) was invited by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) to its 3rd Philippine Energy Efficiency Forum (PEEF) held on July 10, 2012 at the SMX Convention Center in Manila.

Attending business leaders, energy experts and policymakers discussed and addressed the challenges of energy security and climate change through energy savings across the power sector value chain. The forum also served as a venue for identifying the key drivers for energy efficiency within the electric power sector value chain – from generation to distribution, to commercial, residential and industrial uses of electricity. Topics on energy efficient technologies, energy policies and consumer education to improve energy security, enhance global competitiveness and accelerate economic growth were also discussed.

Among the speakers were Department of Energy Undersecretary Loreta Ayson, Schneider Electric Country President Philippe Reveilhac, Siemens Vice President Emmanuel Gesmundo, Shell Country Chairman Edgar Chua, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines President Henry Sy, Jr., Manila Electric company SVP Alfredo Panlilio, IFC Resident Representative Jesse Ang and Philips Electronics and Lighting, Inc. Manager, Gilbert Ong.
