Upon the invitation of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), ADFIAP participated in the prestigious Future Investment Conference (FIC), held on September 7–8, 2025, in Xiamen, China. The event was convened under the umbrella of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), the country’s only national-level investment fair, organized annually by the Ministry of Commerce of China.
Representing ADFIAP were Chairman Dr. Kao Thach and Secretary General Mr. Enrique Florencio, both participating in high-level discussions with global leaders, institutional investors, and policymakers. Their involvement highlighted ADFIAP’s commitment to promoting sustainable finance, regional cooperation, and inclusive development across the Asia-Pacific.
CIFIT: A Global Investment Platform
CIFIT is recognized as one of the world’s most influential international investment platforms, attracting over 50,000 participants annually from around the world. The 2025 edition included national leaders, senior executives, and development finance institutions who gathered to discuss investment trends, cross-border partnerships, and strategies for resilient growth.
ADFIAP’s presence at FIC strengthened its strategic partnerships with UNCTAD, multilateral organizations, and fellow DFIs. The dialogue sessions offered a platform for ADFIAP to share best practices, explore co-financing opportunities, and enhance capacity building among member institutions.
As the Asia-Pacific region continues to navigate complex transitions—from digital transformation to energy transition—ADFIAP remains committed to empowering institutions, encouraging responsible stewardship, and shaping a more sustainable investment landscape.
