In a gesture aimed at strengthening ties and exploring collaborative opportunities, a delegation from the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) paid a courtesy visit to Ms. Lynette Ortiz, the President and CEO of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), at the bank’s headquarters in Manila.
ADFIAP Secretary-General Mr. Enrique Florencio and key association officers Ms. Sandra Honrado, Mr. John Alianza, and Mr. George Aquino led the meeting, which was held on August 19, 2024. The visit served as a platform for both institutions to discuss mutual goals, share insights on sustainable development financing, and explore avenues for future collaboration.
During the meeting, Ms. Ortiz emphasized LANDBANK’s commitment to promoting inclusive growth and supporting the agricultural sector, aligning with ADFIAP’s mission of advancing development financing across Asia and the Pacific. She highlighted the bank’s recent initiatives designed to enhance financial inclusivity and environmental sustainability, which are crucial for national development.
Mr. Florencio expressed ADFIAP’s appreciation for LANDBANK’s leadership in development banking and its active role in the community. He noted that the collaboration between ADFIAP and LANDBANK could serve as a model for other regional development finance institutions.
