ADFIAP held its 23rd Ordinary Meeting of the General Assembly (GA) on February 21, 2019 at the Main Venue Hall of the Sheraton Oman Hotel in conjunction with the 42nd ADFIAP Annual Meetings in Muscat, Oman (please see separate story).

The GA approved the minutes of its 17th ADFIAP Extraordinary Meeting of the General Assembly held in ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi, India; confirmed the re-election of ten (10) members of the ADFIAP Board, namely, IPDC Finance Ltd. (Bangladesh), Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, Federated States of Micronesia Development Bank, Fiji Development Bank, Exim Bank India, Development Bank of Japan, Oman Development Bank, Development Bank of Samoa, Development and Investment Bank of Turkey and Vietnam Development Bank; noted the achievement report by the Secretary General; and welcomed the Alliance Finance Company PLC as newest member of the Association.

The GA is the highest body that meets every two years to elect the Board of Directors of the Association and passes upon organizational matters. It consists of duly-authorized representatives of each of the development financing institutions which are voting members of the Association.
