Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding of the Multilateral Synergy Coalition (MSC) at COP30, Brazil – November 17, 2025 – Amazon Rainforest, Brazil
The Multilateral Synergy Coalition (MSC) was officially launched on November 17, 2025, during the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Brazil. In a symbolic ceremony held in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) highlighted the crucial role of tropical forests in protecting global climate stability, biodiversity, and human well-being.
The MSC brings together leading institutions from Brazil, China, Macau, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region, forming a truly global alliance. Among the signatories are Embrapa, Instituto LIMA, SeaGate Global, ADFIAP, China City Development Foundation (CCDF), Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), China Business Top 100 (CBT100), and other notable organizations, including MGLCIA, Hullson, GFF, BRHK, PCIID-CAPI, APTA CCI, and MEGO.
Joining the MSC, ADFIAP, strengthens its commitment to promoting sustainable finance and institutional innovation. Its involvement emphasizes the Asia-Pacific region’s key role in shaping global strategies for climate resilience and inclusive growth.
The Coalition’s mission is to accelerate the transition toward a circular and sustainable economy by promoting multilateral cooperation across key sectors, including sustainable finance, agriculture, forestry, renewable energy, technology, and carbon emissions management and trading.
Through this agreement, MSC and its partners commit to mobilizing resources, fostering innovation, and promoting social and environmental inclusion—building the foundation for a globally resilient, equitable, and sustainable future.
