Consistent with its work and advocacy on good governance and responsible corporate citizenship, ADFIAP, as one of the 30 Integrity Consortium (ICON) members and signatory to the Integrity Pledge, participated in the 2nd Integrity Summit held on September 18, 2012 at the Hotel Inter-Continental, Makati City, Philippines. Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III delivered the keynote address.

With the theme “Driving Culture Change,” the conference presented the concrete results experienced by organizations that have successfully implemented a culture of integrity in business and in the workplace. The event featured presentations by leaders from both public and private sectors that have demonstrated how their organizations were able to transcend the culture of corruption. It also served as a venue to present the results of two important surveys, namely, the Annual Enterprise Survey on Corruption as well as the results from the baseline study of the Integrity Self-Assessment Tool used by the signatories of the Integrity Pledge.

Over 500 participants consisted of top management and middle management of signatories to the Integrity Pledge, compliance officers, procurement officers, HR practitioners, government officials, leaders of civil society organizations, business school officials and those who share a deep commitment in promoting ethical business practices.

The Summit was organized by the Integrity Initiative https://www.integrityinitiative.com/index.php, a nationwide, private sector-led campaign that institutionalizes common ethical standards among various sectors of society. The Initiative is implemented by the Makati Business Club (MBC) and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), in partnership with the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham), and the Asian Institute of Management-Hills Governance Center (AIM).
