ADFIAP pays courtesy call to CIPE

Courtesy call to CIPEADFIAP Secretary General, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta, in conjunction with his official mission to the U.S. for the World Federation of DFIs, visited the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) headquarters in Washington, D.C. on October 10, 2013 and met with Messrs. Andrew Wilson and Gregg F. Willhauck, CIPE Deputy Director, Strategic Planning & Programs and Director, Congressional & Government Relations, respectively, to update each other on current initiatives of mutual interest.

CIPE has supported ADFIAP on its corporate governance and responsible citizenship programmes with capacity-building and training grants since 2002 and has been instrumental in helping ADFIAP achieve its international advocacies on good governance and association leadership.

CIPE www.cipe.org strengthens democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reform. It is one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy. Since 1983, CIPE has worked with business leaders, policymakers, and journalists to build the civic institutions vital to a democratic society. CIPE’s key program areas include anticorruption, advocacy, business associations, corporate governance, democratic governance, access to information, the informal sector and property rights, and women and youth.
