midyear planingThe ADFIAP Secretariat’s service and operations business units, together with invited resource persons, met on July 3, 2014 at the ADFIAP headquarters to review its accomplishments vis-à-vis its targets set during the first half of the year as well as laid out its plans for the rest of 2014.

The meeting was formally opened by ADFIAP Secretary General Octavio B. Peralta by his presentation on the current status of the work plans that were discussed and agreed to in last January’s annual planning session. He followed this with an analysis of the revenue mix intake performance of the Association from 1995 to the present to ensure that it is on the right track as far as financial resources are concerned to meet the growing and varying needs of ADFIAP member-institutions. While the ‘traditional’ revenue sources from membership dues (about 60%), training and consulting fees (25%) and grants (15%) are there, other potential revenue sources like publishing, e.g., ADVANCE magazine, sponsorship marketing and brokering fees are also being explored.

ADFIAP’s service business units – the Institute of Development Finance (IDF) and the ADFIAP Consulting – highlighted their joint and coordinated efforts in delivering new and innovative training and certificate courses based on the capacity building needs of the Association’s members using their combined expertise and working through partnerships with other institutions.
