ADFIAP updates CIPE on new CSR program

Peralta, during his mission to Washington, D.C. for the World Bank FPD 2011Forum, visited the headquarters of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and met with CIPE Executive Director, Mr. John D. Sullivan, Regional Director for Asia, John Callebaut, Director for Policy Reform, Mr. Aleksandr Shkolnikov, and Program Officer for Asia, Mr. John Morrell to update them, among others, on the implementation activities of the new CIPE grant-funded program on “Institutionalizing Responsible Corporate Citizenship in DFIs”.

The one-year program aims to strengthen corporate citizenship practices and activities of ADFIAP members through the conduct of one regional seminar in Manila and four national workshops in India, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

CIPE https://www.cipe.org/ strengthens democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reform. CIPE is one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy. Since 1983, CIPE has worked with business leaders, policymakers, and journalists to build the civic institutions vital to a democratic society.
