ADFIAP welcomed and presented the plaque of membership to Optimum Development Bank (ODB) on June 21, 2013 at the Association’s Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. ODB’s application as an Associate Member was approved by the ADFIAP Board during its meeting in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on May 22, 2013 and was afterward confirmed by the General Assembly also meeting in the Mongolian capital. In joining the ADFIAP, ODB aims to benefit from the Association’s professional development, information exchange, and business cooperation programs and activities.

In a simple ceremony, ADFIAP Secretary General, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta, handed over the plaque of membership to Mr. Gerardo A. Morales, ODB President. Also present during the event were ODB’s Independent Director, Ms, Evelyn D. Guerrero and ADFIAP’s Ms. Sandy Lim, Ms. Sandra Honrado, Mr. Enrique Florencio and ADFIAP Consulting’s Ms. Ma. Cristina Aquino.

ODB, which is currently updating its website, plans to enhance its development finance activities to, among others, entrepreneurs and their needs for business, housing and related social endeavors.
