As the ADFIAP 46th Annual Meetings draws closer, all preparations for the event are now in full swing.
This year’s meeting host, the Eurasian Development Bank Chairman Nikolai Podguzov got a chance to discuss with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev the upcoming 46th Annual Meetings of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), which will be held in Almaty from May 15 to 17. The theme for this year’s annual meeting is “DFIs and Sustainable Infrastructure: Operating Models and Methods”.
The event will bring together approximately 80 member banks from 40 different nations, international organizations, and relevant ministries from Kazakhstan and the region to discuss investments in the Kazakh economy and the EAEU.
Throughout the conference, Tokayev stressed the active role the EDB plays in integration processes. He claims that the Bank’s involvement in implementing infrastructure renovation and construction projects will significantly boost Kazakhstan’s economic expansion.
