The event, hosted by Planters Development Bank, another ADFIAP member, brought together 40 delegates from banks in the APEC member-economies to exchange experiences around the theme, “SME Banking in a Changing Landscape.”

During the visit, Mr. Soros and Mr. Bunnag were received and updated of the Association activities by ADFIAP Secretary General, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta and other Secretariat officers. The meeting was also an occasion to share ideas on how to organize more business-related exchanges among members of ADFIAP. One idea discussed is to organize business matching opportunities among SME clients of ADFIAP members back-to-back with big events of the Association such as the Annual Meeting and the CEO Forum. The idea will be further discussed and presented in the next CEO Forum slated to be held on November 13-16, 2012 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
