Chen Chen, New Country Director for Sri Lanka, Asian Development Bank’s (ADB)

COLOMBO, SRI LANKA (25 February 2020) — The Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) new Country Director for Sri Lanka, Chen Chen, assumed office in Colombo on 24 February 2020.
Mr. Chen succeeds Sri Widowati who retired from ADB in September 2019.
In a career spanning nearly two decades, Mr. Chen, a Chinese national, joined ADB in 2007, and has worked in the organization’s Pacific and South Asia departments, overseeing projects in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, and Timor-Leste.
