Development Bank of Jamaica’s (DBJ) GreenBiz initiative under the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) energy project has hosted an Energy Fair at the Emancipation Park on October 12, 2012. The GreenBiz Energy project is a joint DBJ and IDB project which promotes the benefits of energy and conservation and investment in renewable energy in local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It is funded by an IDB grant of US$93,000 with a counterpart DBJ contribution of US$214,000. DBJ GreenBiz supports the operation of the DBJ/PetroCaribe Energy Fund.
