EXIM Bank participates in ADB’s Trade Finance Program

The Export-Import Bank of Malaysia (EXIM Bank), https://www.exim.com.my/, is the first local bank in Malaysia to participate in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Trade Finance Program. This enables EXIM Bank to confirm Letters of Credit (LC) issued by 78 ADB participating issuing banks from 16 Asian countries. The facility is available to Malaysian incorporated companies that wish to export goods to any or ADB Developing Member Countries. Aligned with EXIM Bank’s mandated role, the facility is targeted to bolster exports volume and to foster trade transactions between Malaysia companies and the 43 ADB Developing Member Countries.
