Credit Oman Strengthens Leadership with Hussain Al Lawati’s Appointment
Muscat, Oman – The Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Hussain Al Lawati on his recent appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Credit Oman. This vital appointment further enhances the leadership of a key institution dedicated to supporting trade and economic growth in the Sultanate.
Mr. Al Lawati brings extensive experience and a distinguished career in the financial sector to his new role. He currently serves as the CEO of the Development Bank, a key ADFIAP member organization leading the way in financing development and economic diversification in Oman. His leadership was further emphasized when he was elected as 1st Vice-Chairman of ADFIAP during the Board of Directors meeting in Muscat on April 24, 2025.
His extensive background in strategic planning, innovation, growth, and strategic partnerships within the banking and finance sector will be invaluable in guiding Credit Oman’s strategic direction. As Chairman, Mr. Al Lawati is positioned to strengthen Credit Oman’s role in fostering economic resilience and promoting Omani exports worldwide, aligning with Oman Vision 2040.
