Upon invitation of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), ADFIAP represented by its Deputy Secretary General, Norman Tilos, attended the 4th EU-Philippines Business Summit held last October 17, 2017 at the Solaire Resort Manila. As a trade forum organized in celebration of EU-Philippine trade and investment relations, the business summit provided a venue for facilitating dialogue between key industry players, European business leaders, and the Philippine government on relevant issues such as tax reform, the EU-Philippine Free Trade Agreement, and other liberalizing economic activities. Discussions also focused on the changes necessary to further improve the country’s position as a competitive destination in ASEAN and global markets. More than 350 delegates attended the summit representing political and business interests from Europe, the Philippines, and ASEAN.
