Organized by the International Financial Consultants Limited (IFCL), an ADFIAP member based in Ottawa, Canada, through its President and CEO, Ms. Diana Smallridge, ADFIAP’s Secretary General, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta, met with officers of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, D.C. on April 5, 2011 and briefed them on ADFIAP’s work and advocacy on financing sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific.

Mr. Peralta met with the Division on Capital Markets and Financial Institutions represented by Mr. Jose Juan Gomes Lorenzo, Senior Specialist on Private Sector. The meeting also afforded both institutions to explore possible areas of cooperation on best practice exchange and capacity building on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), green finance and performance measurement for development banks.
