Delegates to the 40th ADFIAP Annual Meetings held in Macao SAR, China crafted and issued a statement of support to the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs). The statement read, “We, the delegates to the 40th ADFIAP Annual Meetings, recognizing the essential role that regional associations like ADFIAP can play in the implementation of the U.N. resolution on the sustainable development goals, support ADFIAP in championing the SDGs through its programs and activities, in providing knowledge and network resources on SDGs to its member-DFIs, and in aligning its work and advocacy on SDGs with global efforts. We further state that we will continue, where appropriate, to promote and act on the ideals and aspirations of the SDGs in our own institutions and jurisdictions.”
