ADFIAP, represented by its Operations Group Head, Mr. Enrique Florencio, participated as an invited hosted buyer and joined the Association Day meetings, networking, and roundtable discussions at the IMEX Worldwide Exhibition for the MICE industry (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) held from May 21-23, 2019 at the Messe Frankfurt, Germany.
More than 10,000 hosted buyers, exhibitors, and visitors attended the event packed with B2B opportunities, networking events, educational tracks, and roundtable discussions. Mr. Florencio joined the Association Day forums and discussed with fellow hosted buyers topics such as “Sustainability on trial: whose responsibility is it?” and “The impact of associations and their conferences on destination”. Mr. Florencio got a chance to share ADFIAP’s journey on advocating sustainability among it’s more than 100 members and partners across Asia-Pacific. He also met with exhibitors and association providers where he learned new ideas and knowledge in the organization of conferences, meetings, and training events.
