ADFIAP Secretariat gears up for its “engage & grow” strategy

Following the strategy review and planning workshop on January 18, 2018 (see related news article), the ADFIAP Secretariat held its second meeting on January 25, 2018 to gear up for this year’s “engage & grow” strategy which essentially will have the following “formula”:

Engagement with members + Engagement with partners, donors, sponsors, other stakeholders + Engaging in tools and technology = Growth (in membership, in activities, in revenues).

The Secretariat’s business units – the ADFIAP Consulting Group and the Asia-Pacific Institute of Development Finance (IDF) – as well as its operational units – Membership, Knowledge Management, Advocacy (new) and Finance and Administration – presented their accomplishments in 2017 and laid out their plans for 2018, focusing on developing new program and service offerings to members, adopting new technology and tools for efficiency and agility, and leveraging on its vast and diverse networks around the world to enhance its visibility and reach.

Also contributing to the planning session was Roger Louis de Jong of the University of Amsterdam who is ADFIAP’s first international student intern under its Global Internship and Leadership Program (AGILE) (please see separate story).
