ADFIAP’s IDF conducts bank officership course

Key_grp_picADFIAP’s Asia-Pacific Institute of Development Finance (IDF) has organized the holding of the “International Seminar-Workshop on Key Essentials for Bank Officers” from March 28 to April 1, 2016 at the St. Giles Hotel in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines, with bank officers from ADFIAP members in Palau, Oman, and Bhutan attending.

The five-day program focused on the leveling up of skills and knowledge of bank officers through experiential learning, hands-on exercises and case studies to make them more suitable in coping up with the ever changing way of doing business. The program covered topics such as roles and responsibilities of bank officers; soft skills vs hard skills and attitude vs skills; code of ethical standards for bank officers; communication excellence and presentation skills; presentation skills and gamification; time management: productivity booster; creative problem solving and decision making: think out of the box but stay inside it; building skills that can turn divergence into opportunities; negotiation skills: creating win-win solutions; corporate power image; positive thinking: harness the power of optimism; confidence coaching to build self-esteem and self belief; and establishing corporate culture.

The resource persons of the seminar were the members of the ADFIAP Consulting (AC) team headed by Ms. Cora Conde; Ms. Arlene Orencia, Ms. Cecille Ibarra, Ms. Emy Chavez, Atty. Alberto Reyno and Ms. Cristy Aquino.
