ADFIAP and the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS) explored possible areas of cooperation in educational programs during a meeting on May 17, 2012 at the ADFIAP Secretariat offices of APAFS officers, Mr. Daniel A. Roland, Executive Director, and Mr. Jason B. Miyashita with Mr. Octavio B. Peralta, ADFIAP Secretary General, and Atty. Alberto Reyno of the ADFIAP Consulting Group.

APAFS organizes annually the Pacific Region Investment Conference (PRIC) where ADFIAP is a supporting organization. The event, which is now on its 12th edition, will be held this year on November 15-16, 2012 at the New World Makati City Hotel, Manila, Philippines. APAFS also runs the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) Training Program which is the best way for investment fiduciaries to absorb prudent practices, their legal underpinnings, and how to apply them within existing fiduciary policies and procedures.

APAFS is a non-profit educational association with the aim of providing educational forums for fiduciaries in the region so that they can better exercise prudent stewardship of the funds entrusted to their care. It was formed by a forward thinking group of fiduciaries from throughout the diverse geographical area of the Asia Pacific region.
