As part of ADFIAP’s outreach to its community, visiting research students from the De La Salle College-St. Benilde taking up International Political Economy subject within the Bachelors of Arts in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs curriculum, were briefed on March 23, 2012 at the ADFIAP headquarters by Secretary General, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta, on the work, activities and advocacies of the Association that revolve around its contribution in financing sustainable development. The so-called “4 pillars” of ADFIAP’s sustainability mission covers its support for micro, small and medium enterprises, financial inclusion, green finance and good governance for the sustainable development aspects of economic, social, environmental and governance, respectively.

The research students found out about ADFIAP through the Internet by searching the key phrase, “development finance” and began to be interested in the work of the Association hence the request for a visit and interview. The students mentioned they will make a report to their class and submit a paper to their professor and showed their appreciation on the briefing made.
