ADFIAP, DBT (Kalkinma) join forces to offer training and technical assistance services

ADFIAP and the Development Bank of Turkey (Kalkinma), using its synergies on training, capacity-building and consulting experiences, entered into a memorandum of understanding recently to offer these services to Association members and their constituencies.

For over 30 years, ADFIAP has organized many training, capacity-building and credentialing programs on various topics related of sustainable development finance. In view of this long-standing experience and expertise, ADFIAP has established in 2000 its career development and credentialing center, the Asia-Pacific Institute of Development Finance (IDF) https://www.adfiap.org/idf/ which runs a year-round calendar of seminars, workshops, conferences and other learning events. In 2009, the Association set up its consultancy and advisory arm, the ADFIAP Consulting (AC) https://www.adfiap.org/marketplace/adfiap-consulting/ that offers practical and holistic solutions to development bank operational concerns based on the over 100 years of aggregate experiences of its roster of consultants.

Established in October 1999 and taking over the mandate of the State Industry and Laborer Investment Bank that was set up in November 1975, Kalkinma is the premier development bank of Turkey https://english.kalkinma.com.tr/ that is tasked with achieving development and sustainable growth of the country. As a result of its many years of experience, Kalk?nma, began to play an active role in organizing different training activities and institutional strengthening programs inside and outside the bank. It has provided technical assistance to several development finance institutions in the region.
