DSC02225On invitation by the Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA), ADFIAP participated in its 23th international event as well as in the 16th CTW Asia-Pacific 2013 on October 1-3, 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ms. Sandra Honrado, ADFIAP Senior Executive on Programs, represented ADFIAP in this event. She met with travel associations and national tourism boards of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other Asian countries to explore possible incentives and flexible and tailor-fitted programs for ADFIAP’s international conferences and events. She also attended IT&CM’s inaugural “Association Day Forum” as part of a specially tailored one-day program for Association Executives which featured inspiring educational insights as well as networking events that afforded her to gain knowledge and measures on Association Management, spanning best practices, industry trends, updates, outlooks and new approaches for not-for-profit associations to stay relevant. The implications of how new technology is shaping the way associations plan meetings, conference and professional development activities was also expounded.

Over 3,000 corporate travel and association delegates, MICE professionals and hosted delegates as well as regional and international buyers gathered in the world’s biggest and only double-billed event in travel and hospitality industry that took place at the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Center (BCC) at the Central World, Bangkok, Thailand.
